Anika Kidd is a theatre-maker and designer based in Dublin. Her work and artistic interests are grounded in design-led theatre practices with a strong focus on stage design. She aims to create work that is vibrant with the capability to act as both a spectacle and a spatial anchor to support text. She is looking forward to working with Dead Centre to integrate a multidisciplinary approach to design and to propel her work as a theatre-maker forward.

Since graduating from Theatre and Film Studies in Trinity College Dublin in 2022, Anika has worked within both creative and technical disciplines in theatre and film. Currently, she is working as a stage designer for Dublin based theatre company Hello Operator Theatre. Recent credits include The King of All Birds (Martha Knight, 2023), Alma (Greg Tisdall, 2023), and War and Peace(Gift Horse Theatre, 2022).

Over 2024, Anika will work with Dead Centre on new projects in development, act as Assistant Designer on our productions, and engage in mentorship and professional development opportunities.
